John Quade, who was known for playing the heavy character in many Clint Eastwood movies, has died at age 71. john quade actor died in his sleep of natural causes Sunday at his home in Rosamond, near Lancaster, said his wife, Gwen Saunders.
Although Quade's name might not be familiar to many moviegoers, his face was. In fact, he had a face made for playing heavies. he is perhaps best remembered as the motorcycle gang leader in the Eastwood movie "Every Which Way But Loose" and its sequel, "Any Which Way You Can." He also played Sheriff Biggs in episodes of "Roots." He leaves 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
